Setting a limit for home base? - madcat2c - 30.07.2008
~S~ all,
Love all the great work being done by this group, and I have a blast in your server. A small token of appreciation has been sent.
I've been having fun with the FMB lately, and was wondering how to set limits on the number of players on a particular base in a mission. I would like to design missions with one or two high powered aircraft, and I've noticed on some maps that the limit can be set, but for the life of me, I can't figure it out.
thanks in advance for any help you could offer.

Set the base where you need it, exit FMB and open the mission file (.mis) with notepad. Go all the way to the buttom and find an entry section like the one below:
[BornPlace]
1 3000 72102 98355
2 3000 74332 61875
First number is alligiance: Red=1 Blue=2
Second number is what you need:
The smallest numeber is 677. The base disappears if set to 676
Homebase circle allowances: 677 to 684=1 player, 685=2 players, 690=3 players 700=4 players. I have not gone further yet. Be forwarned that if there are more than one of those restricted bases you might need to adjust the number upwards a little. Otherwise some bases might not show up.
