Can't Read Russian - caldrail - 03.08.2008

Occaisionally the mods I find on this site screw up my installation of IL2. Thats a pain but ultimately there are ways around it, such as backups or careful editing - I've done that a few times! What I can't get rid of though is the russian text. The opening screen is russian, all the campaign text is russian, and its driving me nuts. Is there a simple cure for this?

I use the Sound Mod 9.3 which appears to be the villain of the case.

in \Files\i18n\ .... there are bunch of properties files , make sure gui_ru.properties is in english ( for menus and stuff...) also hud_log_ru.properties ( for hud messages) ... etc.

make sure you don't have same files present somewhere among mods ( Mods folder) .... if you have then edit them instead of those from "files" folder

for Dgen campaign language fix ... search for fix by Potenz
