How do I get perfet settings. Can someone tell me where to get perfect settings? I helepd you now you help me

1.Start the game
2. Click Hardware Setup
3. Click Video Modes, set to OpenGL, click apply
4.Click Back.
5. Click Video Options, set Landscape Detail to Perfect, click apply and go fly..

OK, when you click Video Options is there a Custom buton in the lower RIGHT side of the screen?
If so, click it.
If not I have no idea.

Look for this section in the conf file in main game folder

VideoSetupId=3
Water=1
Effects=2
ForceShaders1x=0
PolygonOffsetFactor=-0.15
PolygonOffsetUnits=-3.0

Ok so I pressed start, went on all programs, went on ubisoft, clicked on il2 1946,


now what do i do? I really want max settings

ah, thats the reason that you cant play with perfect settings, you card is weak.

did you update the drivers? if you did, i suggest that you play with a driver that came with driver disk

the new drivers are not really made to handle the older games as well :wink:
