Mod Idea : Burning Napalm on the Ground - Carnagexxx - 09.08.2008
I belive that we get some Korea Planes in the near or not so near future, so napalm becoms more importent in a Korea Szenario
At the moment, we just had a large fire ball on the ground an nothing other
Is it possible to create flames their that stay longer, so a area which is hit by napalm burns on fore some minutes ???

If you or someone else could find how to asign
new effects to aircrafts and objects it would be not so difficult, the problem is that many effect files in il2 are linked to each other and it causes that when you change one the other will change too, and these changes( in other files) are not allways as you whished
hock: and you have to solve these problems which are not so easy and may cause other problems in other effects files.

That was a problem with my early mods. I renamed and repathed the files into new names, and now its independant from other works. Seriously guys. The Effects in this game are not hard at all to mod. Just get the SFS extractor. Find the .eff files and start looking at them. You will learn quickly.
