Setting throttle to elevator trim? - reflected - 12.08.2008

I just ordered a Saitek throttle quadrant from the internet, and I wondered if it's possible to assign "elevator trim" to one of the levers. Do I need some superhuman power to do it, or it's a widely used technique? Thanks

It should be nothing more than scrolling down in the control settings of the games HOTAS section and asigning the axis to the controler.

yes I have extra throttle lever with my two saitek AV8R joysticks which are plugged in (i use two for the twin-engined planes using the Throttle software)

just select in HOTAS and move the appropriate lever ...but you will need to check if it is reading as minus or plus ...so that it goes in the correct direction to raise/lower or increase/decrease
