Bf-109 Loses It's Bark - Yogue - 13.08.2008

Hi All,

please be gentle, this is my first post.

I have v4.08m.

I've installed:

mod_activator
wrapper
Spitfire-I
Hurricane-IId
Bf-110G-4
Beaufighter-TFX
Me-410

I've done no manual installations; no files have been
moved / copied manually.

What I noticed yesterday sounds similar to fozzy's post below:
None of the 20mm MG151 canons seem to make any noise,
except the Me-410.

MG/FF are fine, and the 15mm in the Bf-109F-2 is also fine.

Muzzle flash is still present. Tracers still present and gun does
damage. Just no sound. Affects 109 and 110.

I'm suspicious of the Me-410 install, but I didn't fly these planes
after every install so I can't be sure which one upset it.

Can anyone else confirm this problem?

Does anyone know a fix, please?

Happy Landings,

Yogue.

I have a backup of the unmodded game, the "start postition",
but, no, I didn't make a new backup before each mod.

But just incase, what i do is, is i install a mod, then test it, if there are no bugs, then i make a back up.
This garantees me that i will not reinstall the game again

Yes, good practice.

In a previous life, I worked in software test. I know far
too much about regression testing and bug tracking.

You don't always want to take your work home.

Apologies to all.

This problem is fixed with the latest mod_activator install.

In fact it was fixed some time ago.
