Enjoy!
comments and suggestions are welcome!
EDIT 3:
Incompatibility issue SOLVED, and links updated, please redownload...
EDIT 2:
Veltro is trying to solve a possible incompatibility with Freddy's cockpit, please be patient.
EDIT 1:
Cause this mod uses meshes from other planes, squadron markings are not displayed. For now we suggest to change the default skins.
BTW you could add also specific skin folders in Paintschemes folder. Folder titles are:
Bf-109F-2_B
Bf-109F-4_B

Any screens and what do they replace please?

New-slot aircraft by the looks of the downloads. Do these require an updated buttons file? Haven't got time to test them this evening. Just about time to turn in....
- Th!rdeye - 13.08.2008
They are new slots by the looks of the files.... I thought someone on the AAA team was doing these already....
- canonuk - 13.08.2008
Really impressed with these - many, many thanks!
Some screenshots:
They are new slot aircraft that don't require a new buttons file. No conflicts at all for me. I haven't managed to get the static aicraft to show yet but I'm sure that's just some mistake on my part.
Oh, and to use skins on these aircraft create the following folders in Paintschemes/Skins:
Bf-109F-2_B
Bf-109F-4_B
Once again, many thanks!
Joe

Yes, very cool indeed!
One gripe with them only:
Could you change them so they access the 109F2 and F4 default skins, rather than packing them with their own skins? The reason I ask is that I'm using the 4.09m mod version with the new default skins that came for the official beta patch. The normal F2, F4 and also the mod F1 all use these new high quality default skins, your Jabo F2 and F4s however show the old green/yellow and grey/black ones respectively. It would also help decrease the size of the download package (most of it = skins)
Again, thanks for this mod!

Karaya - if you download the Default Skin Mod by vpmedia you can have whatever default skins you want, for all aircraft

Beautiful Screens Joe

I've added the static aircrafts, but it works only for the 4.08 without other aircrafts. If you have other aircrafts installed, you can assign them the default 109 F2 and F4 models, in the stationary.ini:
BF_109F2 vehicles.planes.Plane$BF_109F2 2
BF_109F2B vehicles.planes.Plane$BF_109F4 2
BF_109F4 vehicles.planes.Plane$BF_109F4 2
BF_109F4B vehicles.planes.Plane$BF_109F4 2

Yes they are new-slot planes but use default FM so no need of a new buttons file.

OPS!...
now it's ok!
- fruitbat - 13.08.2008
I like alot, thanks Gitano.
One small thing though, the squdron badges don't show up on the new planes, all other markings but not these. Any ideas what to do to get them in game?
cheers fruitbat
