IL-2 1946 For MAc??? -
Kopfdorfer - 18.08.2008
I apologize if this isn't the right spot to post this question.
Is there such a thing as a version of IL-2 (any at all, but specifically 1946) that is available for Mac Users?
If not, is this a worthy (I know it's huge) possibility to create/translate?
The reason I ask is I was discussing AAA and IL-2 with a friend who has a Mac, who is interested in aviation, and neither of us is aware of a mac version.
I don't know how off the wall this question is, but I thought it might be a worthwhile post simply because I haven't seen it before, and likely the question has come up.

im pretty sure there is no version of il2 for mac. however, i would suggest that your friend install boot camp, and a copy of windows XP, assuming they have an intel based chip, and run IL2 on the boot camp partition.

That is how i do it. I run on a macintosh computer (iMac dual core processor) and have bootcamp+Windows XP Pro. It works like a charm

I'm on a core duo 20" iMac, and it works great. Oleg says he will never develop for Mac, but no matter, Mac runs it just fine under XP.
