Theres no real use.... The opening would be the same size, maybe a bit clearer. And you can't stick your head out of it without seeing the missing textures on the size of the 109.

Thirdeye, i don't think the idea is to stick your head out as much as effect. And the opening could only be half size due to the locking of the frame.



Theres no real use for a lot of the mods because they are mostly cosmetic as is this one. :wink:

this will be a very nice cosmetic addition to the game same as all planes canopy openable.

Sorry guys, but this is not possible on any default planes. You must edit the FM of the aircraft to get a sliding canopy feature. I just checked for my P-47.
