Crash to Desktop Troubleshoot - Dr. Strangelove - 22.08.2008
Hi peeps!
I've just started up IL-2 after installing (in this order):
- Mod Activator v. 5.2
- Wrapper
- AAA Mod Pack v. 2.7
- Beaufighter Mk. X v. 1.1
- Bf-110G-4 v. 1.0
- Spitfire Mk. 1 v. 2.7
... And that's it. When I run IL-2 it shows me the loading screen, (nice BG!) and loads to 60%, then crashes to desktop. Any suggestions?
Sorry for not reading posts that have covered this already, just don't have the time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 8)

to be able to have new slot planes such is spit mk1 you need to install latest AC installer ...
during installation process you will be asked to select sound mod version or mod activator so select one you have installed

Hello Gentlemen,
Sorry for not responding quicker, I was having too much fun with the bombers.
I got it working by uninstalling the original aircraft. That's a shame... I would still like to use them, so, any suggestions?
Btw, is there a way to change the metric measurements on the speed and altitude ticker in the lower-left hand corner of the screen?
Thanks, folks!

you mean speed bar ? ....well, default command is shift+s ( if i remember it correctly) anyway look in controls for toggle speed bar key .

Uhmm... OK, I got the original aircraft working! ... Just needed to download the a/c installer. DOH!
Beautiful planes, though.
Thanks for all your help!
