working fuel gauges? - andqui - 23.08.2008
hey-
I have a question about the fuel gauges on the planes. Half of them don't seem to work!
For example: the Ki-27- i have noticed that when set to 100%, the needle stays at 100 until it makes a jump to 50%, and then to 25%. It doesn't "flow".
And other planes don't seem to move at all- Bf-110, Val/Zero, and more that i can't think of right now.
And of course some work perfectly, like the Arado/Wildcat/some versions of the 109.
So- what's going on here? How easy would it be to fix this?
thanks

Cannot fix because of AAA rules. If you edit the certain file to fix this, you can do other stuff..

so it actually is broken?
Allright- didn't know it needed a class change. Just making sure something wasn't screwed up with the installation.
thanks

The fuel gauge on the 110 works, but I think the reason you never see it move is because the tanks on that plane are HUGE and it only reads near the bottom of the fuel load. The only time I recall seeing it move was when leaking like a seive, you'll see the top two warning lights for right and left forward tanks come on, then the lights for the rear tanks. The gauge sweeps smoothly across.
