Bf-109E and F pilot position - dFrog - 04.09.2008

I have a humble request here. This is default Bf-109E cockpit. As you can see, pilot is not in center but moved a little bit to the right. The same is in Bf-109F. Can someone fix this ?

..... sure, press Shift+F1 keys ...done ..!!

- Bee - 05.09.2008

All Luftwaffe pilots were a bit to the right (joke). Smile

- dFrog - 05.09.2008

No, you don't understand. I have no problem with the gunsight. Take look at the view from E and from other Bf-109's. In other Bf's the pilot's seat is in the center of the cockpit, but in E pilot is "sitting" more to the right side and not in center...
So, can someone of modding gurus fix this ?

- Brophmeister - 05.09.2008

Hmmm, I've never really found this to be too much of a problem personally. When it comes to combat youre always sitting in front of the gunsight anyway.

- dFrog - 05.09.2008

Yes, but with such talented people here... Let's call it "cosmetic mod"

OK, for those who don't see the point. Compare these pictures. Now with Freddy's cockpits installed.

Ah, there you go. Yes.
And what about the propeler? You ever noticed the same problem?

- RAF_Leigh - 06.09.2008

umm

if you think about it

they wouldnt sit directly in the middle anyway

if the gunsight is right a bit they would be looking to the right

just my way of seeing this

my 2 cents use them or leave them (i need a new computerTongue)

OMG, this thread reminds me of a joke.

An owner of a cake shop is telling his friend:
A:"You won't believe what happened to me today!!"
B:"What?"
A:"A guest came in and ordered a piece of pudding cake and a coffee.
I told him we don't have a pudding cake today, and asked him if he wants something else.
He said, a piece of pudding cake and a tea then. I told him again its pudding cake that we don't have, not the tea. Ahh, he said, a pudding cake and a glass of coke then. Look sir, I replied, we have coke, we have coffee and we have tea, it's pudding cake that we don't have today. I understand, he replied, I'll have a pudding cake and a glass of watter then. At this moment my nerves couldn't handle it anymore and I threw him out of my cakeshop!! What would you do in my place, my friend?"
B:"I'd take that pudding cake and smash it right into his face!!"

The moral of the joke: It's not about gunsight view. It's not about Shift-F1. It's about default position.

It just seems so trivial. Is it really such a big deal? :?
