Does anyone else have this problem (which only happens on my modded installs and not on my un-modded copy):
The sim will start loading but the desktop task bar is still visible across the middle of the screen. It eventually disappears, but when loading up is complete the mouse cursor won't work. I have to hit conrol/escape to return to the desktop and then alt/tab to bring Il-2 back up. Then everything works fine.
This happens about 70% of the time. Interestingly enough, when I run the Mods ON 4.09.exe mod switcher to overwrite the files, Il-2 almost always loads up fine. I don't actually switch versions, just overwrite. I run Il-2 at 1600X1200 32Bit with a 75hz refresh rate. My normal screen resolution is 1024X768 at 85hz. I use RefreshLock to overide the Win2000 refresh bug, but the problem also happens with RefreshLock off.
It's not a big deal, but gets annoying.
Anyone have a fix, or at last an explanation as to why it happens?

well at least its not just me.lol....maybe we can start a club?
but we wold probably have to hit ctrl alt delete for that as well...lol

I seem to have this problem too..Hmm...It's not too difficult to handle though. I just press the windows key, ad it responds pretty fast.

If you start your game and klick anywhere on the sreen before you are in the game it will freeze your mouse, dont do that
anyway start the game and dont klick anywhere
when you do have the problem you just Alt+Tab the game and get back with Alt+Tab again - and it will work
