Though it would not be the prime reason for buying a laptop It would be nice to be able to run IL2.
So Is there any chance I could run the game on this spec at all? Two different specs the latter one is a little bit over my budget but if it will run IL2 that may swing it. Smile

Thanks for any help

i highly doubt that those video cards will play the game nicely, try to get at least 9600gt or similar to that, even 8600gt will work

Hey I play il-2 on good on my 3 year old home laptop. Still get goo graphics, all on excellent or good, with about 20 fps. Hope to het a new gaming PC, but still fun. Yours will run il-2 quite well.

See the BoB2 forums for my PC specs, they're too long to post here.

The 8400 is a budget minded card, performance wise it is a 7300 with Vista DX10 capability added. 8600 or better, for older cards 7600 or better are just fine.
