No MOD folder? - AndyP - 17.09.2008

Please forgive a noob question:

I'm running IL-2 version 4.08m, patched with SFX_0_6 (the latest version of the MOD Activator?), Wrapper and AC Installer. The new sounds work great, but there is no sign of a MOD folder in the IL-2 directory (just the new Files folder).

I read somewhere that the Wrapper application does not automatically add a MOD folder, which will happen when you install an official AAA patch. But every mod I have downloaded so far comes with the instruction 'simply unwrap to your MODS folder'. Creating a MODS folder manually hasn't worked for me either, at least with the clouds mod I tried.

Any suggestions?

... install any official AAA mod ( new planes mods download section or map mods download section or ....) which comes with auto installer and you'll get your MODS folder

but i suggest that you switch to AAA unified installer .... easiest to install and you'll get bunch of mods all tested and approved
