How to create a invisible airfield? - RealDarko - 22.09.2008

Want to create a invisible airfield, but of course being invisible, you can't find the runway. So how you guys make to get a totally flat area so I can land anywhere within the limits of the airfield? Saw this for first time in Bessarabia map, but also available on Canon's UK channel map.

first choose your spot...then using the map tools FMB... choose the blur option in the height menu and choose 9 pixels box...then smooth the area
then use either my new kronstadt plate #17a ..an invisible plate.from my Thailand map...or Canon's from his channel map...but this turns all the kronstadt plates invisible.
cover the area required and save your new actors static and map_h files

using mine I choose the kronstadt plate #17 which is visible and lay them out.. then select each one and swap it to the 17a invisible one

What i did was that i just put on the map any airfield plates i wanted (and organized them into the shape i wanted) then extracted the info from actors.static file and just renamed those plates in generated outBuildings.txt file with text editor.
