Need to build a new pc , hav'nt many money .........use old chassis , old HD sata 2 500 Mb ......new motherboard, new processor , new video card and new memory for expense max 1400

maybe you should buy a Mac?

good processor intel q6600, very widely used cheap and fast. good video card for performance and price either 9600gt or 8800gt. i have used these and can recommend. 1400 euros is enough to build a good computer m8

Totally agree, some months ago I put together the following for about 750 Euros:

ANTEC 900 Case
Hiper M 630W PSU
ASUS P5n-e SLI Motherboard
Core2Duo E6750 2.66GHz OC@ 3.2GHz
Arctic Freezer 7 Pro CPU cooler
ASUS EN8800 GT 512MB OC@ 700Mhz / 2000MHz
Thermaltake DuoOrb VGA cooler
2GB RAM Corsair XMS6400 800MHz
Samsung Spinpoint 500GB SATA HD

I added a few old bits like an Audigy 2ZS, TrackIr2, X52, CH rudder pedals and now have a nice system. Some of those bits have come down a bit since then or you could go for slightly higher specs (like the Q6600 luther mentioned).

hunter1, that system vacillator showed is something you could think about building. would be very good for il-2. good configuration for price and performance balance

no doubt, it is a fine PC for the money!! Smile
