Tutorial: remove shader1 trees from roads and railroads - I/JG27_Waggel - 02.10.2008

I may not see trees groing on a road. I have considered how to reduce this problem.

There is a structure or a sample in the road system. the roads have their firm place in a texture. I coloured it red. You can see it here:

Once you know how these streets are placed you can make a new layer in your grafic program and than you put in the roads as red lines (pixelsize 6 is working good)

You only have to put this layer into your tree texture (for example rom_fields_LowLand3.tree.tga. Make a mask and delete the white trees (make them black).

It is a little bit different to explain but it works very well. I will make some screenshots to make it more clear.
