What's a ".hc" File? - Dr. Strangelove - 02.10.2008
Well, I thought I'd get more hits in this section...
Anyone know what the heck an .hc file is?
If so, how can I convert them to .tga files?
If not, anyone know about that Hakencross mod at M4T? It adds in historically correct swastikas to Finnish and German planes. Pretty problematic, I have to run the .exe file for it to work any time I want to run the game...
So all I want to do is convert the .hc files to .tga and add them into the MODS section, in hopes they'll act as decals, where I don't have to bother with them anymore.
Thanks.

hc files are temparary files and rarely used by the public. Usally publishers use them as fast compressed files but rarely seen. My suggestion is to look it up and yull' probibly find a converter the will convert the file. An example would be like a psp. file used by photoshop but im' not sure where this one is from. Don't take my word for it but this is the best advice i can give to you. Cheers!

A little suggestion: change the "ClearCache" like in your conf.ini to 0, and the decals won't change anymore AFAIK....
