I've had this. Update to 1.6.07 after rebooting after removing all previous versions in add/remove pgms. and deleting Java in Programs. Also use RegCleaner or similar to clean out old registry entries
- T_O_A_D - 14.10.2008
I guess I'm just going to live with it.
I installed unistalled Java several times, and it keeps coming back.
Thanks for trying.

Run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

Download and run the latest version of the Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool.
Follow this procedure from the Microsoft site:

Defrag with

Thanks Fly
I didn't get a chance to try any of this, several of my flying M8's and I got hit last weekend from a Trojan, due to one of the guys hosting a mission file, using a free uploader and posting the file at our forum, before he or anyone new it was too late, openly trusting ourselves to be careful, for one another bit us in the arse.
I had to do a fresh install, well not quite, its a Ghost of a fresh install, and I put in Service pac 3 right after.
So far so good no more errors.
Still game the same game install, it was in a seperate drive.
So best guess is it was a Windows/Java problem.
I'll bookmark this thead and if needed I'll try whaot you posted, and pass it along to anyone else if experiencing the same problems.
Again thanks
