Request for all MGs/cannons safety lock button... - Mangas - 14.10.2008
Hello, all modders and game fans... Just curious, is it possible to make a full working all MGs/cannons safety lock button? Yeah, I know about default button, but, if I'm not mistaken, it prevents just FW-190s wing MGs from firing... I know that almost every nation's air forces in WW2 had accidents when pilots fired weapons during landing/at the airfields forgetting to block the weapons after combat (or to unblock them in combat)...
So, is it possible? It would be very authentic...

Btw would it be possible to have a Gunsight On / Off button ?
In the beaufighter it sometimes gets destroyed and simply turns itself off.
Maby a mod can be made where all Aircraft start with The gunsight turned off and you have to turn it on.
I know for a fact that gunsight where off during most of the flight and turn on before combat

There are some stories of JG52 Lipfert when he attacked a sowjet fighter but the weapons did ot fire. He ordered his wingman to attack the fighter. He himself made roles and he shaked his plane because he thaught he has jammed machine guns but h only forgot to activate the gun on switcher.

WHile someone is doing that mod, you might as well invent something similar for the bombs. I am pretty sure it was impossible to release the bombs when you are on the runway. But in Il-2, this can ruin the coop.

It would be GREAT to have a single touch which block fire buttons 1,2,3 and 4 !!!!
And it would be GREAT too to have a switch touch for gunsight !!!!
