Hello, This is my first post and I trust its in the appropriate place? I wonder has anyone experienced an error message when executing Stab 6.3 setup after re-installation? I've previously had the programme running with IL2 1946 4.08 without any problems. I've subsequently uninstalled the game and stab 6.3 via the control panel...per instructions. Now, having re-installed IL2 1946 and patched it to 4.08 I can no longer execute the IL2 stab program. The instructions are clear enough: to unzip the rar contents to a temporary folder and execute the setup file from there. The error message I'm recieving is that " IL2 sturmovik appears to be installed incorrectly. Please reinstall from the source directory"? I have uninstalled and re-installed IL2 three times now, following the default installation path etc...c\...\ubisoft\IL2 etc. I've then simply applied the 4.08 patch and the game runs. Additionally I have setup IL2 Mat Manager, which I can also run the game from without difficulty....suggesting that the error message is wrong! With hopes that someone could enlighten me. My apologies at the length of this message.

EDit: My apologies...The error message says: "IL2 Stab does not appear to have been installed correctly. Please runsetup again". The point is that I'm unable to install it from the stup exe. The message doesn't make sense to me. The rar file appears to contain all components?

To correct an item in first post, the program I am running IL2 through is 'IL2 Manager PF'....not 'MAT Manager'. Sorry for the misinformation above. This brings me to ask another question regarding MAT Manager. I'm unable to utilise the programme as it cannot detect my IL2 exe. in the root file. I can see it is there ( and the game runs afterall) , but Mat manager setup can't see it for some reason? Could anyone kindly advise me? Many thanks

Edit: Hello. I executed the setup file from within the rar file, rather than extracting the contents to a temporary file. This has now installed the program, which I understand does not need to run from the iL2 root directory? I assume that for a second installation, ie for another game version, the ILstab directory would need to be renamed? Could anyone please advice me how to enable the ' apply' switch within the options/ setup menu of IL stab. I'm trying to set the game resolution to one of the included higher settings?
Again I'm thankful for any advice anyone can offer and my apologies for the earlier confusion.
