Hmmm
It doesn't look like a cockpit that has been rivetted onto a V1 flying bomb and it doesn't seem to have a propeller - is it one of those "Foo Fighters"?

And it must be pretty cold in their cockpits. They don’t have that big ventilator fan for cooling in front of the plane.

- Guest - 25.10.2008
sure they are cool,
but they dont ave the character of a piston engined warbird.
If i could only listen to one sounds one last time it would be a Spitfire fly by

Heeeyyyy......'how come' the T-Birds are wearing the gray HGU-55 helmet??? they always wear their custom designed -55 to match their aircraf's paint job. I should know...the company I work for makes them for the team; also the USN Blue Angels!!... only kidding, pulling your leg. Nice pics; and yes, the company is in El Cajon, outside San Diego, and is called Flight Suits/ Gibson & Barnes (for you equipment affecionados.)
NOTHING like the old crackling pistons..for me!! 8)
