Carrier Deck - Paasky - 01.11.2008

What do I have to do to make a flat surface act like a carrier deck, anyone know? Maybe name a material in 3dsmax into something special and then apply it to the surface?

Or is this a "you're the first, you figure it out" thing 8)

u say act like a carrier deck... does that means you can use hooks as well?

If you just mean some stable surface which means you won't bump repeatedly then use Runway 4 from the stationary ships list. It is invisible and you can't see it but if you choose runway 1 and place it then change to runway 4 (4 is slightly longer)

Yes you can see runway 4, it's got white lines in the corners. Just hard to spot them Wink

I was actually talking about making a new model, as a hopefully moving ship, which would just be airborne (have a dummy at sea-level, and then the object itself maybe 1km above it):

So yes, the hooks would be nice to have working as well Wink

This would be quite epic to have tbh.

Something tells me these were intended for something like that... Hmm...
