Problems with Vpmedias new Default Skins and Skin Update 409 - Carnagexxx - 09.11.2008
I have installed the official Skin Update for the 4.09 mod
But it overwrits Vpmedias new Skins from his great New Default Skin mod
Reinstalling the mod dont help
Has anybody an idea how do I get Vpmedias skins back ??!?!?!?

Ok i will try it again at home
but since i installed the official Maddox 4.09 Skin Update even reinstalling of VPmedias mod dont work

I have both, the 4.09 skinpack 8which is so much better than the old one in many cases) and the vp skinpack as well as own additions. works without problems.
did you check if the path to the vp skinmod is correct? not altered or moved by accident?
the files in the MODS folder should always overeide the sfs files when in the correct path.

Carnagexxx, if you read this topic: (The link is inoperative) I think that you will discover that there are no 109 skins included in Vpmedias Skinmod 1.3.
In fact, Vpmedias Skinmod 1.3 only includes new default skins for these planes:

There are new default skins for many other planes in that topic too, just download them and off you go.
I do not see any new 109 defaults in the expanded lists either, so I guess you will need to create them yourself.
The same holds for the SKINMOD included in the UI, you only get the new defaults listed above and the rest of the folders are empty, you need to add from vpmedias list or make them yourself per instructions in the topic and the skinmod readme..

hmm, but I got new ME 109 Default skins after VP medias first skinmod
I really remember this, the 109 is the plane I most use.....strange

Strange indeed, I just downloaded it again, opened it and checked each 109 folder, many have Summer and Winter folders inside them but all are empty.
