B-24D and Coastal Command's Liberators - Jenda - 21.11.2008
Hello great AAA mod team, I would ask you if theres a chance to modding default B-24J to version D (with solid glass nose) and develop from both British - as well as USN - anti-submarines variants (GR.V and GRVIII I guess) fitted with rocket launchers, it would be great addition to game, thx anyway
keep up the great work
PS- cant wait for Lancaster

I'll second this request, even if it's just for the basic B-24D model. Really the only changes needed are the glass nose and replacing the ball turret with a "tunnel gun".
It would be especially nice for certain planes....

That was the 392nd Bomb Group's formation assembly aircraft. Assembly aircraft were tired bombers that were deemed no longer fit for combat, but still airworthy. They were given interesting and often very bright paint schemes to make them easy to see. The assembly aircraft would take off first and circle around the airbase and the strike aircraft would take off and join the assembly aircraft and get into formation. Once the formation was assembled, the assembly aircraft would return to base.
A B-24D has been requested some time ago and would be great for 1942-43 campaigns in Western Europe, the Mediterranean and Pacific theaters.

I'd love to see a B-24D in game!

It certainly looks like a type of Dazzle camouflage..............
