Problem: Pilot career not saved in campaign - J_Hartikka - 22.11.2008
Hi!
Anyone know how to get a downloaded campaign save pilot career?
I got the fine new F19 campaign and its map installed and working otherways fine, except that my sim does not 'remember' my career although it makes and updates the user file 'campaigns.ini'. Next time it starts from first mission again.
My IL2 sim is 4.08 and has the IL2 War mod pack 1.2. I guess there may be some simple error I have made as I never before have installed campaigns.

+ 1, I've had this "bug" for months, tried every trick I could think of, but to no avail ...
The only "solution" I found is to play the campaigns as single missions .....
I would give my horse and an Ale if somebody gave me the "fix"
(I play modded 4.09 version of the sim, so it has nothing to do with the version of the game ... and nothing to do either with a specific campaign)
Fixed by adding a campaign and reinstalling another - J_Hartikka - 23.11.2008

Now the sim remembers my pilot campaign career.
I mounted the MS 406 campaign and the career started work ok from the beginning with it.
That inspired me to remove and remount the F19 career and campaign. Now the sim started remember my flights well, too. Some unknown bug, I do not know what, but fixed anyway...

did you just reinstall the campaign? it is super frustrating when your pilot carees start from the first mission every time. I think it is something to to with the new mapmods as all the old maps work perfectly

I tried first a few times reinstalling the campaign which forgot my career. It did not help.
Then I installed another campaign and found that with it the career started to work.
After that I once more reinstalled the non-working career, and it started to remember my career, too.
Might be something bad that was accidentally corrected in my campaigns.ini or not. I really have no idea for the cause..!
