Second Campaign in Battleaxe series out now! - Poltava - 25.11.2008

I am working on a series of campaigns, portraying the fighting over North Africa in June 1941 during "Operation Battleaxe", and using the excellent Libya NE map by JV69_BADA. The first campaign, where you fly the Bf109E, has already been posted. (See the thread: viewtopic.php?t=9718)

And now the second campaign is finished and posted!

In this campaign you are a RAF pilot in 274 Squadron, equipped with the Hurricane IIc. In it you will fly mainly ground support missions, but there you also have your fair share of intercepts and dogfights. Your opponents will be mainly German Bf109E's, Bf110's, Italian Macchis and CR.42's.

The campaign comes with seven skins, by, among others VP-media and Canon_UK. (More credits in the campaign read-me.)

In the three upcoming campaigns you will be able to fly as a
- German Stuka pilot
- Italian G.50 pilot
- Allied Tomahawk II pilot, mainly in the fighter role

Played until the third mission and then it would never load me in a Hurri but kept starting me in a Blenny at altitude. I enjoyed the night CAP in the second mission. Any ideas.

Congompasse, I havn't got this campaign but what you discribe is a common problem, did the readme with the campaign tell you to start with the highest rank? When building a campaign the sim can put you in an aircraft that the campaign builder did not assign, something to do with which aircraft or squadron is selected first. The way around this is usually to select highest rank, doesn't always work, but more often than not.
