no sound when i turn my head - madness69 - 29.11.2008

Ive been using the sound mods for quite a while but a while ago I noticed that the sound was real low when im sitting in the cockpit and alot louder when im outside the plane. On the spitfire in perticular when i move my head the sound drop dramaticly but goes back to normal when my head goes back to center. Any help would be great.

S` madness69

Does that happen when you listen to music/other game sounds as well or just in IL2?
I'm just curious whether it may/may not be associated with either the game mods or your sound card/system setup ... looking at a process of elimination here.

Hey guys, be serious please. I've got the same problem and I also would like to have a solution for it.

I have this problem too...

Same problem here---I use TIR 4---any connection since the volume changes are associated with view? I get a distinct increase in volume when looking up, as well.

Thanks for any fix to this annoyance.

I have this problem too. It's exactly as you describe. It never really bothered me that much, and would stop when l disabled sound extensions on my sound card. The problem is that w/o the extensions the whole game sounds chintsy, not just when I turn my head
