unfortunately, I think this was needed seems less and less people read the rules regarding that; or choose to selectively read the rules.. :x

yes, I think dogfights glorifies americans too much (coming from an american) id like to hear stories from german pilots and other nations as well.

By accounts from pilots I've met and from my father (who was trained in a P-51D), American planes had excellent performance but poor handling or difficult control. Expecially the Mustang, which has a very complex startup procedure and without adequate training, can easily flip on take-off.

Honestly, the current FM in game are fine. They show the advantages and disadvantages quiet well. Anyway, Oleg is an aeronautical engineer by profession before he moved to computer games, so I'm sure he wouldn't have skipped on the FM.

As for new aircraft, well the AAA team do a pretty damn fine job at getting them right!

- Jg3_Hartmann - 08.12.2008

Yeah, I

- Paulo Hirth - 08.12.2008

Sry, but FM is important, the problem is: Mr Oleg can't or dont want do a revision on FM... is fine 95% of planes, but there is must fix to do, my sugestion still being a NEW SLOT PLANES with a Ta152C(AAA FM) or new name like Ta152B...
Lets talk about the poor TA152C again, in real life was more faster than a D9, let me show velocity in game at 6000, with MW50, 50% fuel:

FW D9 480 Km/h
P-47D 485
Mustang MK 490
FW A9 480
109K C3 485

TA152C 475 and at 10000 down to 360!!

Detail historic: Ta152 was record i higth altitude in yor that time.
What i show is clear, are facts, and all you can start the game fly and check, if we really want quality, we need work for reach the perfection, this is very important for realism.

Definately. I hate flying the P-51, whilst it is fast and manouverable, it is unstable and impossible to recover in a spin. Guess I'm spoilt though, since the 109 (my aircraft of choice) is very predictable and takes effort to get it into a dynamic spin.

Each to their own though. I had issues with the Spitfire and some of the bombers, but with time you learn the tricks. STILL, as pointed out previously, US aircraft were not the be-all and end-all of aircraft.

Understood. But that is simply it though, 95% of the aircraft in the game are correct i.e. P-51s, Spittys etc which are commonly requested to be fixed. Ta-152C is incorrect in game and there are ground for a correction. Without breaking AAA policy, the only way you can do it is a new slot.

Really point of this thread is, if you have no knowledge or information about aircraft, (not direct at you Paulo) stop asking for edits of existing FMs.

- Carnagexxx - 08.12.2008

Will their ever be a change of the "hight-model" or is this FM modding ???

- Saburo Sakai - 08.12.2008

The point i was trying to get across, is that ppl should read the rules, which would stop them asking for FM edits, and enjoy what the lads here give to us. Big Grin

- RAF_Leigh - 08.12.2008

I WANT THE 51 FIXED AHHH

it is getting anoying and i couldnt care less about the 51 to but there doesnt need to be an other thread the threads will just get closed and yer

Fact: IN GAME FW A9 is more fast than Ta152C at 6000= this is clear WRONG

Isnt wrong, or boring, ask for fix a wrong detail, i know i am very perfecionist,

but i want the best to the game, dont be upset with this.
