U.S. Star won't show on skin - PapaG39 - 11.12.2008

Never ran across this one before, but I have a couple of clean skins that the U.S. star will not show up in QMB.

Any other countries will show, but not the USA.

What would cause this?

Is this for all aircraft? F'r example, some aircraft don't show RAF roundels simply because. They just have the lettering.

Nope. Just a few. Normally I use clean skins & then when I turn the switch to on they will show which ever countrys that I have selected. Lately I have run across a "New" clean skin that will not show a marking, usually the USA star. Never noticed this before UA installer download.

I was just wondering if it has something to do with Mat manager or a setting somewhere..Or the way the skin was done...

if its only one or two aircraft, sometimes they just don't have the symbols on, like the beaufighter for RAF roundels.

Other than that, try re-exporting the selected US star. Also check the bottom right of the manager, there's stuff related to US markings although i'm not sure if it'll make any difference.

For US planes, the skin has to have the star already on it, or it won't show up. I don't know why Oleg set it up that way, but some planes are like that, some planes aren't.

EVERY US plane is like this. Some of the Japanese planes are, others aren't. You just have to kind of feel it out.
