Problem with custom skins - marcost - 14.12.2008

hi please can you help, I have installed several new campaigns with skin packs but the new skins don't show up, I just get the default skin. Sometimes it's the player aircraft only and sometimes the whole flight is in the wrong skin. I can select the correct skin in QMB so I'm assuming I put them in the right place (paintschemes/skins) or do they go in the MODS folder? Or is there a setting somewhere to enable custom skins. All my other mods, including maps, work fine.

I have checked the aircraft and skin fliename in the campaign/mission and made sure the skin is in the right folder. Also, if I select the correct skin in QMB and then launch the campaign, I get the right skin. But, I would have to do this for every new skinned aircraft in a campaign before I launched it. Surely the campaign should set the correct skins when it launches?

make sure they're in paintschemes/skins

For me they turned up fine.
