My P-51 D, and J-3 Grasshopper - Scorlord - 14.12.2008

These are my two personal radio controlled warbirds that me and my dad built. First up is my second plane I built and flew, which was just a step up from my trainer. It is a military version of the Piper J-3 Cub, because everyone else used the yellow version. So I modified the kit, these both weren't ARFs, but balsa and monocoat kits. The wings are on the wall and buried so until I can get them out you'll only see the bodies. I also haven't flown in years which is even more present in my P-51.

My P-51 D painted to look like the Flying Undertaker of the pacific. She was one that has been sitting there for awhile, I don't know if my retracts and engine work, but meh. School popped up so flying kind of died out, but I'm hoping to start up again, mainly cause I've gotten good with autocad, and my old high school has a laser cutter that I use to use.
