Engines not turning on - taintxs - 18.12.2008

Sorry im new to all this modding ive downloaded the soundmod,ac installer and aaa mod pack installed them all. I am able to view the inside of the plane and outside and shoot guns and drop bombs example b-17 but the engines just wont turn on (yes i am pressing the right button) am I doing something wrong or do I have to download something else or press a different button? Would anyone be willing to help me?

IF you have complex Engine managment turned on under the options then you have to assighn a key for each engine.

Example: My 1 key on keyboard is engine 1 so there fore I hit (1) to select said engine then I hit (I) to start it. THen I hit (2) then (I) then 3 and 4 done the same. After that I hit (5) to sellect all engines
so that the throttle controlls them all.
