Skins for Civilian Vehicles - agracier - 18.12.2008
I know this is a military sim, but even so, WWII was often characterized by large numbers of refugees on the roads, often in animal-pulled wagons or with handcarts and whatnot. I don't really believe I've ever encountered of these in the game, certainly not as moving objects.
I was just wondering if it would be possible, if anyone has any interest in this that is, in creating skins/objects for strictly civilian vehicles. It would give a boost to instilling yet another level of both gameplay and semi-realism to the game.

Yes ... this is sort of what I was thinking of. I suppose these haven't been released yet since they don't look familiar. But they do look very nice ... and I suspect they are for static objects ... not moving vehicles?
Just an idea - any way for any of these vehicles to be packed with (pitiful looking) household goods on top - suitcases, boxes and whatnot? They look well kept-up in the screen shots, but as refugees on the roads and on the run from advancing armies, they would look much more shabbier.
In any case - these look great and I await in anticipation.

Some of them have been made by Fisneaky, and some of them have been made by me. But they are not only static object. They can move like other vehicles.
Charlie Chap made them moving !!!
But it is not easy to diffuse and install because theses Java files prevent other new vehicles Java files ...
