Splash Screen/Background Fun - Reap - 18.12.2008

Hope you like the idea :wink: I changed the splash screen and background using pics right from the screen shot section here I hope I have this right, I used "Wilhelm Heidkamp" FW screenshot(My Favorite) for the load screen and "reflected" screen shot for my background and fly-zo's winter GUI. Put them all together and here you go :wink: Enjoy, I do

If you have fly-zo gui winter( which I recommend), just open it in mods go to splash screen and open TGA. file with(I use photo shop, then open a picture you want to take its place cut/copy and paste over original. For background in your root folder(IL2 sturmovich1946) click on missions and in there you will see a TGA. along with, Net/Campaign, etc..... do the same open with photo editing program and open what ever pic you want for your background, copy/cut and paste and save. it is now what you want to see. Hope it helps ~S~

It looks like some of those backgrounds are in widescreen format are they? If so how did you get rid of the balck bars on the left & right?

If I understand correctly :oops: , you dont like the black lateral bars.
