Maybe delete everything, uninstall game and then download the unified-installer? It's the best route-you get a lot of MODs and then you can add any extra ones. I find the sounds of the uni a lot better than any of the sound-mods.

Before you re-install m8 try this:

(The link is inoperative) Click

Try this 1st though to make sure this new planes are in the right place:

SpitfireMkI Spitfire MK.I, 1939 in the plane_ru file which is within the i18n Folder

#####################################################################
# Spitfire Mk.I
#####################################################################
SpitfireMkI.default Default
SpitfireMkI.none Empty

in the weapons_ru file and in the same folder as above.

SpitfireMkI air.SPITFIRE1 1 NOINFO gb01 SUMMER

which is in:

STD/com/maddox/il2/objects.

And just download the one above again and do it again

Yes -- Don't just assume all is lost and re-install.

First uninstall the new aircraft and check to see if it runs ok.

If it does then install each new aircraft one at a time to identify where the problem is.

I've given up using Auto Installers.
I just open up the installation file to see what it wants to install and then do it manually.
That way I can see exactly which files will be over written and make sure I have backups until I know its all working.

All the file entries which Hot Space mentions above can be found in the installation files for each aircraft.
