Mod idea: File pointers instead of copies... - Spinnetti - 23.12.2008

So, I'm sure that like me, you have a LOT of aircraft skins, and these skins often work on more than one version of the plane. I'm over 15gig now, and need the hard drive space!

Any way to mod the game so that you can have ONE original copy of a file and use pointers (alias's) for the rest? I tried putting shortcuts in for some skins, but it didn't work. Is this possible?
