Roundel Question - SamIAm - 31.12.2008
Forgive me for asking before really looking. This question may have been asked and answered already, but with dial-up, it takes a long time to look around.
To the point:
Is there a way to modify the stock default roundels in the game. The early U.S. Star is standing out like a sore thumb at me. Either the blue field is too small or the star is too big.
The other one is, I was wondering if there was a way to add roundels to the proper dates.
Example: The red outlining on the Stars n Bars was used in 1943.

to be honest if you're making the point about shite makings, the obvious one is the RAF roundels, they're nothing short of attrocious.
Happily for you, there is an answer: IL2 Mat-Manager 2.36; deals with all your listen problems. Well worth it. Unfortunately, it is a royal pain in the arse to get working. But absolutley worth it. Look in the IL2 technical help pages for 'the definitive mat manager instal guide' or something like that. It has help for instalation, and a link to the latest version of mat manager.

there is a link on one of the "help me, mat manager doesn't work!" generic topics, you just need to look.
essentially, there's V 2.33 --->2.36 which have to be installed one at a time. Or you find the link that has an all in one pack, whichmakes life
so much easier. Good luck!

I'll give it a shot. I was going to say that about the RAF roundels, but I figured that it would have started something we didn't need. but I know the truth.
Again, thank you for the help.
