3 Startup Splashscreens + 3 Screengrabs - agracier - 09.01.2009

Just thought I'd show a few themed startup splashscreens and a few screengrabs. 2 of the startup screens are based on old period posters and are meant to reflect the spirit and atmosphere of those past times.

How do you change the start-up screen? I'd like to change the game loading screen to the original IL2 screen (no, not the original FB screen, but the first IL2 screen)

I've looked all over, but can't find the location.

r u saying u need the start up screen from IL2? or do u need to kow hwere to find/place it? I have the original IL2 installed somewhaere and should be able to find the pix and maybe tell you where it is/goes.

The last two: the biplane is a hacked Cr-42 meant to represent an early pre-war Hungarian Cr-32. It's for a campaign in the making by Cracken on a pre-WWII conflict between Hungary and Czechoslovakia, after Munich 1938 I believe ...

The Latvian skin is a hack for a Latvian Irbitis VEF-16, probably a prototype fighter. The VEF-16 prototype was sleeker and meaner looking than the MS-406, but even in Sturmovik MS-406 guise, it does have something about it.
