Very nice set there, mate!! 8)
I must congratulate you on the TB-3 shot, it's the first one i've seen where the plane looks half-decent! You definitely caught her 'good side' there. Big Grin

Well that is actually not true.

SWEDISH Gladiators in Volunter Unit F19 during Winter War at Salla front and Rovaniemi area, designation J8a (MKI model with MKII engine), had wooden two-bladed propellers. According to the screens here, I guess they should be J8a's.. thus with two blades.

However, FINNISH Gladiators, mainly used in LLv 26 and LLv 12 and LLv 14, later also by LLv 16 during the Continuation War, were all MKII. Of course there were MkII with Two bladed props by individual choice ( I know that a lot of British pilots preffered this one, but MKII default prop eas the Three bladed metal one.

You can clearly see the three blade prop here:

Below The Finnish Gladiator Ace Oiva Tuominen (5 kills with the Gladiator; 4 SB's and 1 I15-bis) - also with a MKII with three blades.

I would change the cammo though on those beautiful screens as they are Swedish F19 cammos, and they did indeed, as mentioned earlier, have the J8a with two blades

THX! for info - but on pictures is MK.I( J8A) version...

Thanks for the coments guys Big Grin .

About the two or three blades Gladiator question, I'm flying a handmade campaign called Winter War, I dont know the author's name
The shots came from this campaign.
I dont know the historical accuracy of the campaign :?

But I think in the Winter War, in addition to the J8 Swedes, Finns also used their own Gladiators.

Greetings

Flying a campaing with Findland or Russia, the finnish Gladiators and Blenheims wears skis when flying in winter season

- blakalle - 10.01.2009

aaaah I see what it is.

If you look at the spinner, it's the MKI for sure (J8a), but as this is modded it is the spin texture that is wrong. I bet that if he turns off the engine we will only see two blades Smile

Beautiful!

Picture #2 is my favorite!
