QMBplus- can't change skins and markings anymore - huh?! - tacheles07 - 11.01.2009
Recently I noticed that I can't change skins and markings manually in QMBplus anymore
. The skin stays the same all the time and the country markings are always ON...
Are there any known conflicts with other mods (e. g. I have the Skinmod, but it works perfectly for me...)?
Thanks for any help and a big thank you to alle the modders out there.

still having problems? r u using IL2 mat manager 2.36 from m4t?
try this if you have the space on your hard drive.
1st make a copy of your current IL2 folder. Then uninstall the current installation and IL2 mat manager 2.36. then re-install and patch to 4.08. make a copy of it and patch to 4.09b1m. pick one of the 2 new folders to mod. either one as versions are easliy changed. now install IL2 mat manager for the modded IL2 folder and run it. then run the game to see if your changes are there.
if so add the qmb+ to your modded folder and try the markings. that's what i did and mine works.
one more point, i no longer run mat manager as there is a simplier way to get good and authentic emblems. again at m4t there's a simple addon which provides great looking markings without the hastle of mat manager. all u do is extract it to your paintschemes folder, that it! not a indepth as mat manager but way better than default.
good luck

Hi danimalhanke,
finally I found the problem - and it is simple, as most often. Somehow I deleted my Cache-folder in the PaintSchemes-folder (God knows how...). After I copied it in PaintSchemes again everything is allright.
Thanks for your response,
