[WIP] RFC - RadarAAA - 13.01.2009
Hi there!
I developed a kind of "universal-mod-switcher" minded to avoid waste of time and disks healt during mount/dismount operation of huge mod packages with GME.
beta tests has been already done within my sqad and other extern people before post it here

Very interesting, but it seems the archive is corrupted? I will try using Firefox instead of IE7.
Edit: it does not work with Firefox either. I use WinRar.
If you could check again the D/L link that would be great. Thank you.

there's a
bug inside HL that sometime cant release the game process handle
(coders are surely understanding)
this bug causes RFC to reply with "wrong file/path name" error then terminate
effectively RFC did nothing during last run, but HL still need to release il2fb.exe file
(is the same bug that let HL crash sometimes)
i solved unloking files with Unloker (a tool that prompt what to do when founds a locked file)
http://www.brothersoft.com/downloads/unloker.html when needed
repeat
isnt a RFC bug but an HL one

different points of view bring ppl think different ways Claymore
unfortunately GME seems overusing my disks (it 'd happen with your hds too if you hear scratching during mount)
i was asked from my mates to build this universal-mod-switcher and choose to share it with every one who is bored to see GME smashing his hard disks when u/mount huge mod-packs
i used GME as well as i discovered that sometimes it forgot to unmount something randomly:
i wish to join ppl who run mods with CRT=2 .... then if smth is different with svr runtime i cant join
so : long time lease + smashed disks + reduced probability to join my favourite servers brang me to choose a different way to switch between huge mod-packs without bugging with GME
@struwwelpeter: cant answer better than Claymore

You're simply NOT being clear enough???
Where and for what reason might we use this? I use JSME (GME) for Silent Hunter IV but why here?
Your software may be really cool and useful, but not if we don't know what or why for? It takes seconds to change versions with UI 1.0 or 1.1. Don't like a MOD? Simply put a (-) in front of it.
Thanks for more info,
D
