Problem with blowing wind in cockpit - bug? - Ziuk - 17.01.2009

Have you ever had a problem with blowing wind in cockpit? When I change position from gunner ( where I should hear wind ) to pilot wind still blowing. For example in b5n2, d3a1, he 111 etc.

Can somebody can fix it?

Sorry for my bad englishSmile

By chance, absolutely fortunately, some time ago I was working on the similar problem and I have fix it. This is a bug in original Il-2: when entering a gunner cockpit a sound of the wind is started, but it is not stopped when leaving - so it needs adding a few lines in CockpitGunner class, which turn off that sound.

Alors, voila:

please, where i put this two files? thank you.

.prs & .wav - AIRdomination - 22.01.2009

There are actually TWO .prs files responsible for the wind sound, and there are two wind .wav files as well.

I use Soundmod 9.3 and I can hear the wind just fine. Here are the prs files for wind, vpmedia:

aircraft.common
aircraft.common_w

The .wav files are:

wind_rear_00m
wind_rear_01m

Hope this helps.
