ATI drivers Nov'08 release WARNING! - Fisneaky - 21.01.2009

Open GL support is porked in this latest release, stick with Jun '08 version.

What driver number? Are you talking about a Catalyst driver?

I've gone back to 8.501.0.0 driver, and the CCC from that release date.

Thats on XP Sp3 using X1600 pro, though I know if someone using a Radeon 9800 that was also having Open GL issues with the latest 8.12 release.

Don't know how these perform on Vista, but if you get issues I'd suggest use the 8.5 versions.

Very interesting. I'm running a dated Radeon 9800 Pro myself and I'm recently having some grafix and FPS issues for sure. Looks like I may need to roll back my driver...I'll look into it, thanks for the heads up.

EDIT: Hmmm looks like I'm running 8.561...so my problem may lie elsewhere.
