Separate release of BF-109F_Kanonenboot BLENHEIM-1F Nacht234 - ROSOBORONEXPORTCORP - 03.02.2009
Hello,
I don't want to use up bandwidth and don't use mods online. I have a carefully built custom install with my personal selection of mods. Is there anyway these three aircraft could be posted separately so I can download them and conduct a manual install?
Thanks

Where are these three new A/C located on the site?

I totally agree, it makes no sense that people have to download the whole Unified Installer just to get these planes.

Big +1
I don't want to screw up my MOD folder with UI, as I have a few custom planes that I don't want to ruin. I'd much rather pick my own Mods to download.

Hey guys, these planes can be installed manually from the UI 1.1 download.I have done it and now have all of them plus a few others in game with no problems.First you have to install UI 1.1 to a temp folder them go thru it and take out the planes and features you want. It's a little time consuming but worth it if you don't want to wait for them to be released as seperate downloads. Here's a sample of what you have to copy and past to your game files along with the aircraft folder..........
Code:
air.ini
BlenheimMkIF air.BLENHEIM1F 1 gb01 SUMMER
weapons_ru.properties:
#####################################################################
# Blenheim Mk.IF
#####################################################################
BlenheimMkIF.default Default
BlenheimMkIF.none Empty
plane_ru.properties:
BlenheimMkIF Blenheim Mk.IF, 1938
Skins folder:
BlenheimMkIF
This is for the blenheim but this can be done for the 109's and 234 nacht as well.I also installed the new buttons file just to make sure everything worked. Before you do any of this make a backup of your MODS FOLDER and keep it handy so that you can reuse it if you have to.I'm glad I did because I needed it a couple of times before I got everything working right.I hope this helps everyone

...just be sure to copy " buttons" file too , or wait for next AC Installer version ....

So, I took the reverse route, spending most of a weekend day installing fresh to UI1.1, then adding in all my separate mods and testing. There are a number of planes that have been made flyable, that I will never fly. Can I use these instructions to just remove entries in those files to remove some of the planes? I tried just removing folders, but game crashes when I try that (I have no idea what the 'buttons' file is or what that is for).
TIA...
