Looking for a Campaign - Jared - 03.02.2009
Hey guys.. I'm looking for a good campaign, thats in the area of Europe.. nothing very specific or to a specific year, but i want something with huge formations of bombers that i attack, or defend. or huge formations of fighters i have to go up against.
Ive downloaded and played the campaign called Spit'N'Fire during the battle of britain, and its more then excellent. But as im coming to an end in that campaign, im looking for another with the same intesity and amount of planes in the sky.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

I've a huge (300+ mission) campaign I'm working on that includes a number of missions with large numbers of planes, mostly however that is mostly at the begining of the campaign during the BOB. The large scale action dies down as you get into North Africa.
if you like I can PM you the First 25 mission segment that takes place in the Battle of Britain.
It doesn't start big, but there are a few missions that have 40+ bombers

A great campaign with several missions with a great ammount of planes and pretty good fights. In some missions you neeed also to defend large bomber formations.

Try these.
1. Luftwaffe Pilot in BOB. Warning - this is a fun one I think but the flights to and from target are about 10 minutes. Not to everyone's liking but unavoidable for the subject matter. And there's always timeskip.

2. RAF Pilot France. It starts slowly as it follows the French campaign in 1939/40 but after about 10 missions you get some big German formations to attack. The earlier missions are good training for flying the Hurri MkI. They all have combat but the early ones just have a few bombers or fighters to take on.

3. Not a campaign, just a single mission in different weather conditions.
BF109s vs about 60 B-17s.

Of course, if you enjoyed Spit n fire you should also like the precursor Hurricane Season. It's harder due to the plane but that's how it was for those guys.
4. Hurricane Season

Forget Europe and go to the Pacific and fly all of the missions America's Ace of Aces, Dick Bong flew when he scored his 40 kills.
