[MOD] Improved Force Feedback for Take off and Turbulence - Alan - 06.02.2009

Howzit fellas Big Grin

I could not find a mod to get rid of the terrible punch effect on take off and low alt turbulence. This mod changes the disproportionate Force Feedback punch experience during take off and low altitude turbulence to a vibration. Works OK with MSFFB2. Should be OK with others.

I'll try it next week !

Thx Alan !

Alan please check your PM

I'll give it a try. I've always hated the "thump" my MS FFB2 gives in turbulance.

- Triad773 - 07.02.2009

Looks good- thanks, Alan. I will give it a try.

Never did like the clunky way my Evo Force would simulate turb.- I always thought it to be too mechanical and unrealistic.

Cheers

Anybody knows if its works well with saitek ciborg evo force joystick?

- FilMit - 13.02.2009

Yes, working! I have a Saitek Cyborg evo Force, it is now possible to fly in bad weather and do not wring one's hands  Thank you Alan, for this!

- KC Jones - 14.02.2009

Wow !

Alan, thanks a bunch ! ! !

Saitek Cyborg Evo Force here also.

I put my "gain" back up to 100% !

Before,...I thought I'd break my stick with all its bucking and kicking in turbulant weather.

Just did a test and its more manageable and gentler.

Now I can do cross-wind landings with more confidence and without worrying about breaking my stick.

Thanks again,

KC

Just what I have (an Evo Force): although I am not completed testing, I'd say so far so good 8)

Basically the forces are reduced.

Now what I'd like to see is a mod that makes it more difficult to pull out of a dive, I know that Oleg has said that his force feedback is a fraction of that which was IRL. For what it's worth.

Liking what I see so far in this mod.

Cheers

Thanks guys.
No problem with the mod and excesive shaking in turbulence solved!
Yes, Triad773 it would be a good mod about dive controls forces too.
And talking about force feedback too, people, don

Many thanks =815=TooCooL.
Now where I put my eye I put my bullet!
I feel like somebody who has been running with a big stone in his back and now it is all easier, but not unrealistic.

If you could come up with a mod that would prevent the FFB from disengaging when you ALT+TAB or WIN Key out that would be stellar..... I only use the stick forces now because of that.......

Very good for me(saitek evo force)! i have a question: is possible to have a default bouncin landing and a modded low altitude turbulence? Great Mod!
