My bomb explosions.
Stuka's one were unrealisitc as hell in my opinion.
I actually didn't wanted to relase it anywhere, but my friends told me to do it.
This mod changes particle effects for medium big and special* bombs.
* Cookie/Fab5000/SilverPlate Nukes
**FAB 5000 is 5 ton Fuel Air Bomb. So don't complain about mushroom cloud being unrealistic.
It is realistic.

Err... High explosive bombs usually produce mushroom clouds at much lower tonnage than FAEs/Thermobarics (which tend to produce an intense fireball which spreads out laterally, but doesn't throw material as high and also tends to initially starve fires of oxygen near the detonation site itself - so you don't get the prolonged columns of hot air and burning debris until much later).

Yes. But FAB is Fuel Air Bomb. Which produce mushroom cloud at quite high altitude.

No, it is not a Fuel-Air bomb. I don't know where this idea comes from, but I've heard many people say it.
FAB is the Soviet designation for a general purpose high-explosive bomb. Any amount of research will confirm this.

Okay number 1: The music was awsome (what band was it?)
2: Im no biggy on total realism and if a explosion looks good to me im fine you did great.
3: the 5000lb bomb should have a smaller mushroom. im not sure but because it seems like a nuke in size im just gonna say ( i could be very wrong).

True, FAB means Fugasnaya Aviatsionnaya Bomba (=Aviation Demolition Bomb)
Maybe there is some confusion with the VAP-250 which is a napalm bomb and produces a fireball.

In the FAB5000, I like the initial release of superheated/glowing particles the instant of detonation. More bomb types need this.

just a note, the people that made the nuke requested that no videos be posted of it to spoil the surprise

Well, those nuclear particles are mine, so I think I know what to do with them
Also, RAF Magpie, already posted video of previous nuke in his silver plate mod, so it is not any surprise.
How ever, those sparks you are talking about, are also in 1 ton bombs.
Does anyone have any reference video of FAB 5000? I can't find any.

I like BfmV but I think the best bomb explosions effects are the one from buildings fire mod.

sorry, its not a 5000LB bomb, it's a 5000KG bomb. there is a very big difference :wink:
