Uninstall Mod Activator? +HUD mod question - HansHansen - 11.02.2009

Hey guys I have a problem:

I installed the Mod Activator over the U.I. 1.1 cause I thought its requested for decalsshine mod.

A few days ago i downloaded and installed the new U-2 cockpit but in game it shows the old cockpit
without a gunner.

Now i think the mod activator blocks the new cockpit.

Is there any way to uninstall the mod activator or do i have to uninstall il2, download the ui and all the other mods again?


Another Question:
the bombay door mod includes this HUD mod.

I searched in the conf.ini but i didnt find the mods entry, so i created one and added the line
for TAS and blue smoke but it doesnt work

Any ideas to make this mod working, or am i doing something wrong?

I might be able to help you with this part. Can you post the Mods section you created in your conf.ini file. The first thing I always check is the spelling and capitalization of the section name [Mods] and each parameter in the section. If that's not it, we'll try something else.

Here is the part of the conf.ini:

Effects=1
ForceShaders1x=0
PolygonOffsetFactor=-0.15
PolygonOffsetUnits=-3.0

[Mods]
SpeedbarTAS=1
AirShowSmoke=3


I copied the commands out of the readme. I wrote it at the end maybe il2 doesnt find the entry?
Is it correct that i first have to add the mods section or does it normally create one automatically?
